This is a technical presales role, where you would own all the Tookitaki AML products and help Sales win clients and build relationships. Tookitaki is looking for a passionate pre-sales solution architect who has a high-level of technical understanding and expertise across multiple platforms hosted on inhouse datacenters, hybrid cloud and public cloud. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales process by spearheading all technical discussions and providing the optimal solution to fit/integrate Tookitaki’s product offerings into a customer’s existing architecture. We are looking for passionate and dynamic individuals who are comfortable taking ownerships and driving customer engagement. This is a critical and high visibility role where you would be entrusted with critical work. There is a lot of scope for cross functional learning. What is important is your ability to understand the industry, domain, and products deeply to become an SME.

What you will be doing

Tookitaki is looking for a passionate pre-sales manager who will play a key role in helping sales close a deal. You will be required to understand the product architecture and technology in depth and help sales teams provide the right solution to the client.


  • Own and front-end technical discussions, demonstrations, presentations etc. to clients across various stakeholders from C-level to data engineers
  • Engage with the IT/technical teams of a client and deliver product demo (all offerings of TT) from a technical perspective
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses, IT security questions
  • Support creation of the technical proposals of the solution based on the requirement
  • Provide pre-sales solution architecture, technical assistance, product education and support clients through the sales cycle.
  • Understand the business models, goals and requirement of clients; capture and document their technical workflow/process, non-functional and operational requirements.
  • Work in conjunction with implementation teams to oversee and manage product installation, configuration and technical issues during the pilot process as part of presales activities
  • Develop statements of work and/or client proposals

What you won’t be doing

This is an individual contributor role where you would be closely working with the sales and functional presales to help close deals. This is not a sales role and does not carry sales targets.

Must Have Skills/Experience

  • 6+ years or equivalent experience as technical presales
  • Experience responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Demonstrated technical experience in cloud big data technologies and environments
  • Experience with major big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark
  • Experience with big data solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Elastic MapReduce
  • Ability to learn new technical subject matter quickly.
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing, situations, tools, and requirements
  • Ability to engage and lead the discussion with customer
  • Possess strong problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Positive, go-getter attitude. Detailed oriented.

Good-To-Have Skills

  • Prior experience in financial crime software/services. Good understanding
    of AML compliance space.
  • Good understanding of AI/ML based solutions
  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and/or digital products is a plus as well as experience in large transformation programs
  • Experience in working in a growth stage start up under pressure
