Lead Product Manager - CAAS
The ideal candidate needs to have 8+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of delivering successful SaaS products. You will be leading a team of product owners and solution engineers to onboard, implement and manage revenue from customers subscribing to our compliance-as-a-service (CaaS) platform. The responsibilities of the candidate will be as follows -
Understand the revenue streams: As a Lead Product Manager, it's important to understand the different revenue streams of your product, such as subscription fees, usage fees, and transaction fees. This understanding will help you identify areas of the product that are driving revenue growth, as well as areas that may need improvement. The data helps you to make informed pricing decisions.
Monitor costs: You should also keep a close eye on costs associated with product development and delivery, such as engineering and hosting expenses, customer support costs, and marketing spend. Regularly monitoring these costs will help you identify areas where you can optimize spending to maximize profitability.
Identify opportunities for revenue growth: Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for revenue growth. For example, consider expanding your product offerings to meet new market needs, or launching new functionalities or optimizing your sales strategy to drive greater revenue per customer.
Manage product lifecycle: Develop and execute the product vision and roadmap for our CaaS platform, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, support and account management.
Optimize customer acquisition and retention: Work closely with marketing and account management teams to optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies. Analyse customer churn rates and retention metrics to ensure that you're keeping customers engaged and satisfied, and regularly review customer acquisition costs to ensure that you're acquiring new customers efficiently.
Regularly report on financial performance: As a Lead Product Manager, you'll likely be responsible for regularly reporting on the financial performance of your product to key stakeholders, such as C-Suite. Ensure that you're regularly tracking and reporting on key financial metrics, such as revenue, growth, and use this data to inform product strategy and decision-making.
