Product Updates January 2026

In the new year of 2026, these are the updates we have for January. This month’s release focuses on making day-to-day compliance and investigation work simpler – so teams can move faster with greater confidence, without needing additional configuration or manual workarounds.

The updates improve:

  1. The quality of customer context used in risk decisions
  2. Access governance for enterprise users
  3. The ability to review historical alerts – especially closed CDD alerts – without losing investigative detail

Read on for the details.

Better Customer Context in CRS – cleaner risk-level and smarter age logic

Customer context shown in CRS is now more consistent and aligned with what banks use operationally:

  • The customer’s KYC risk level is represented more reliably in CRS.
  • Customer age is calculated using the alert date, so analysts see the customer’s age as it was when the alert was raised

Stronger User Access Governance – no more role conflict and inconsistency

In large teams, administrators sometimes end up assigning more than one role to the same user within a single product (e.g., Case Manager). Despite being allowed in the UI, it can create unclear or inconsistent access behavior, leading to user confusion (“Why did I see this yesterday but not today?”) and unnecessary troubleshooting effort with admin and support teams.

We’ve made role assignment unambiguous and predictable:

  • For any combination of User and Product, there can be only one active role.
  • If a role already exists for that product, the UI blocks adding another and guides the admin to edit/replace the current role instead (Role A → Role B).

What hasn't changed:

  • Users can still have roles across different products (e.g., CM role + CRS role).
  • Administrators can still change a role within a product – it’s just done as a replacement, not an addition.

Better Alert History Experience – closed alerts are visible, usable, and complete

Alert History has been strengthened so that teams can confidently review outcomes and decisions:

  • Closed alerts now appear consistently in Alert History, including for users with segment-level access.
  • Closed CDD alerts now retain restored details, ensuring investigative context doesn’t disappear after closure.
  • Overall usability of Alert History has been improved to support faster historical reviews.

  • Make decisions using the right point-in-time context, especially when reviewing older alerts.
  • Reduce manual cross-checks and “why is this different now?” confusion during QA or audit reviews.
  • Improve consistency across reporting and review workflows, since context aligns better with KYC records and alert timelines.
  • Consistent, predictable access for end users – no accidental “mixed permissions.”
  • Fewer admin mistakes and fewer access-related support tickets.
  • Faster onboarding and cleaner governance, because the system enforces the right model by default.
  • Review past decisions without chasing information across tools or asking admins for help.
  • Reduce time spent on evidence gathering during audits and internal reviews.
  • Maintain continuity when new investigators or reviewers need historical context.
