As the Cloud Infra & Security Director at Tookitaki, you are set to become a cornerstone in the evolution and delivery of our Compliance as a Service (CaaS) offering. This role not only demands expertise in cloud computing and infrastructure management but also a deep understanding of the nuanced security and regulatory compliance landscape specific to the financial services industry. You need to ensure that Tookitaki's cloud infrastructure is not merely a backbone for our services but a benchmark of reliability, security, and operational excellence.

In this capacity, your primary mission will be to oversee the design, deployment, and continuous optimization of our cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with the cutting-edge needs of our CaaS platform. Your role is pivotal in guaranteeing that our cloud infrastructure not only supports but elevates the performance and reliability of our compliance solutions.This role demands a proactive approach to infrastructure management, anticipating the future needs of the market and aligning our cloud services accordingly.

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Lead the architectural design, deployment, and operational management of cloud-based infrastructure for the CaaS platform. Ensure
    optimal scalability, performance, and security standards are met.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Security: Align cloud services with the latest regulatory requirements and industry standards for financial services. Develop and oversee the implementation of security measures, compliance checks, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Financial Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure costs, employing strategies for cost optimization and resource allocation to achieve financial efficiency without
    sacrificing quality or security.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Direct a team of cloud engineers and collaborate with departments across Tookitaki (e.g., Development, Customer Success) to ensure the CaaS offering meets client needs. Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Additional certifications in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are highly regarded.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Demonstrable experience in cloud infrastructure management, including design, security, and optimization. Must possess in-depth knowledge of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and have hands-on experience with major cloud platforms.
  • Compliance and Security Acumen: Strong understanding of and experience with implementing cloud security practices and compliance protocols specific to the
    financial sector. Familiarity with global financial regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) preferred.
  • Cost Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and optimize cloud service costs, with a track record of achieving significant cost savings through innovative strategies.
  • Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership qualities with experience managing technical teams. Strong communication skills are essential for effective cross-departmental collaboration and team management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools is desired. A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud-native technologies will be advantageous.
