The ideal candidate is an external client facing project management expert with a minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance environment. The candidate’s primary responsibilities include executing, maintaining and ensuring standards for project management. You are expected to wow the customers and drive high customer satisfaction by delivering expected results in close alignment with client-facing deployment teams. 

Key areas to look out

  • Demonstrated experience and proven track record of effectively managing clients in a highly technical and B2B software product and/or solution.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment
  • Experience in working with remote deployment teams

What you will be doing

  • Execute, maintain and ensure standards for project management across the organization. You need to be the keeper of the best practices, project status and direction – all in one spot.
  • Manage customer expectations and set realistic goals
  • Provide tangible, repeatable, long term benefits to the business.
  • Align with corporate strategy and culture; be agile enough to adapt as strategy shifts.
  • Be a key enabler for high-performing organizations.
  • Integrate data and information from multiple projects and create the framework for various aspects of project management, but not limited to project scoping, staff forecasting and utilization, delivery methodologic, tools and techniques for project success across the organization.
  • Coaches, mentors, trains and provides oversight for project managers and delivery staff.
  • Work with key delivery stakeholders to prepare weekly project portfolio updates and prepare project summary updates for the management.
  • Ad-hoc assignments as and when needed to support the success of projects.

  • 5 - 10 years' business experience in financial services industry, preferably in banking with 3-4 years of experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, EY, ATK, KPMG)
  • Proven leadership and people management skills are required, along with excellent written, communication in English, and presentation skills.
  • Very proficient in Powerpoint, Excel and Project management tools with an ability to prepare and present to senior management under tight deadlines
  • Project management: schedule, dependency and risk management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a large number of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to attend to details while keeping the big picture goals in mind, manage multiple tasks readily, effectively and within tight deadlines.
  • CAMS certification is added advantage
